Biden Bids To Control Bladder

Republicans in Congress won't work with President Joe Biden on border control. They'll bitch about it. But won't work with him to do something about it.

Actually they wont work with Biden on much of anything. So Biden is taking executive action.

He is temporarily shutting down the southern border to asylum seekers during surges.

The southern border is the border with Canada. Right?

` No it's Mexico. Hey I'm looking at a map. You guys are right. It's Mexico.

Cheap political stunt on Biden's part?

Maybe.

The executive order allows the president to suspend asylum claims in between ports of entry when there is an average of 2,500 crossings a day over over a seven-day period.

"Doing nothing is not an option," the president says. "Plus it will help with my bladder control. I am not old. I am fabulous."

I certainly hope so Mr. President. Actually the president didn't say anything about bladder control. I made that part up. Though he looks like a guy who has bladder control problems. I know I do.

The border is like a leak in a basement pipe. What starts as a slight leak just gets bigger and bigger, Fail to fix it and over time what started as a drip becomes a flood. Kind of like our southern border.

Republicans are calling Biden's order a desperate move to staunch his sagging poll numbers and stop the flood of illegal aliens.

Conservatives view Biden as weak on border control. He has more border than he can control.

Liberals fear his new decree goes too far.

They think of the words on the Statue of Liberty.

"Give me your tired, your poor. Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free..."

There's no question border control is a mess.

Who's to blame?

Republicans say the Democrats.

Democrats say the Republicans.

Maybe If we build a wall... the wall that Donald Trump wants... we should put Trump in the wall in cement. Okay, I know that sounds a little harsh. We can leave space for his head to stick out, like those wooden cutouts they have at second-rate amusement parks.

I've been thinking of filing a claim for political asylum from my wife. She's been shopping too much lately. Trying to rebuild the U.S, economy all by herself.
